By making a booking at The Cottages, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These ensure a smooth, safe, and enjoyable stay for all our guests.
- Booking & Payment
- A valid credit card is required to confirm all bookings.
- A deposit (or full payment) may be required at the time of booking depending on the selected rate or offer.
- Final payment is due 2 weeks before check-in.
- Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST unless stated otherwise.
- Cancellations & Changes
- Standard cancellation policy: Cancellations made more than 14 days before check-in will incur a 50% of full payment fee.
- Cancellations made within 14 days of check-in will incur full payment.
- No-shows and early departures are non-refundable.
- We recommend travel insurance for unexpected changes.
- Check-In & Check-Out
- Check-in: From 2:00 PM
- Check-out: By 10:00 AM
- Early check-in may be available by prior arrangement and may incur a fee.
- Late check-out may be available by prior arrangement and may incur a fee.
- Guest Responsibilities
Guests agree to:
- Treat the property and its contents with respect.
- Notify us of any damages or issues promptly.
- Leave the cottage in a tidy state upon departure.
- Avoid hosting parties or unregistered guests unless pre-approved.
- Follow farm safety guidelines while on the property.
- Occupancy Limits
- Each cottage has a maximum occupancy as stated in the individual listing.
- Additional guests beyond the booking may incur fees or cancellation of the booking.
- Pet-Friendly Policy
- We warmly welcome dogs and cats by prior arrangement.
- Pets must be house-trained, kept under control at all times, and not left unattended inside the cottages.
- Please bring your own bedding, bowls, and food for your pet.
- Owners are responsible for any damage or extra cleaning caused by pets.
- Pets are not permitted on furniture or beds.
- A pet fee of $50.00 will be added to your total booking amount.
- Farm Safety Disclaimer
The Cottages is located on a working rural property.
While we welcome you to explore and enjoy the surrounds, guests must acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of staying on a farm, including uneven ground, electric fences, livestock, and machinery.
- Children must be supervised at all times.
- Entry to paddocks, sheds, or animal enclosures is not permitted.
- All activities are undertaken at the guest’s own risk.
The Cottages accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage incurred while on the property.
- Gift Vouchers
- Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
- Vouchers are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash.
- Bookings made with vouchers are subject to availability and standard terms & conditions.
- Extensions may be considered on request before expiry.
- Weddings & Bridal Parties
- We are proud to host bridal parties and pre-wedding stays.
- Please contact us directly to plan and confirm arrangements for multiple cottages, pre-wedding photography, or event preparations.
- We do not currently host ceremonies or receptions, but we welcome bookings for accommodation before or after your event.
- Noise limits apply to maintain the tranquil setting for all guests.
- Liability
- Guests stay at their own risk and are responsible for their own personal property.
- We are not liable for accidents, injuries, or loss/damage to belongings during your stay.
- Guests may be charged for damage beyond normal wear and tear.
- Privacy
Your personal details are kept safe and used only for the purpose of managing your booking and communicating with you. Please see our Privacy Policy for more details.
